Preserving Heritage, Empowering Communities
Chenhaka Trust is a dynamic, community-driven non-profit organization based in Mutare, Zimbabwe. Established in 2017 by seasoned choreographer and cultural advocate Taurai Moyo, the Trust is dedicated to preserving Zimbabwe’s rich cultural heritage while empowering communities through the creative arts. The name "Chenhaka" is derived from the Shona phrase "Chengetai Nhaka," meaning "Preserve Our Heritage," encapsulating the organization's mission to safeguard and promote cultural traditions.
